Biography
Karen Barbarick, founder of Dreamtime Yoga, is a Certified Ayurvedic Specialist (CAS) and Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) since 1999.
Karen is the Author of the “Mars Warrior Salutations” and her instructional/inspirational DVD’s have been featured at the Aloha Theatre Spiritual Cinema in Hawaii.
She has been a contestant on the new “XTreme Warrior Reality TV” series airing in January 2007 on Com Cast Cable Network. Karen has received grants with Placer County Health and Human Services to work with youth on holistic approaches to health. Her background in Ayurvedic Medicine, Body Centered Therapies and BA in Communications as well as her athletic background (1998 & 1999 Personal Watercraft World Champion) has enabled her to understand human potential in terms of the elements (ether, air, fire, water & earth) which she brings to her Dreamtime Yoga classes.
